About Us

Serving the Community for Over 25 Years

Mission Statement:
The purpose for which the Clinton Guild was formed is as a non-profit, independent organization of business, professional and interested persons formed to enhance the cultural and historical heritage of the town of Clinton and the stimulation of the economy in its environs.

Because Community Matters…
SHOP LOCAL – SHOP CLINTON!

INVEST IN YOUR COMMUNITY

For every $100 spent at a locally owned business, $45 goes back into the community.  Compare this to $100 spent at a nationally owned store where only $14 comes back to the community.*

SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESS SUPPORTS YOUR NEIGHBORS

Local businesses are owned by people who live and work here, and are invested in the future of Clinton.  Local businesses hire local people creating local jobs.

CLINTON BUSINESSES CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY

91% of small business owners contribute to their community, including schools, nonprofits and community groups by making donations and volunteering.

 LOCAL BUSINESSES MAINTAIN
THE SPECIAL CHARACTER OF CLINTON

One-of-a-kind independent businesses are part of what gives Clinton its attractive character.  Clinton has small businesses that have been in town for more than 30 years, thus contributing to the town’s special quality.

 CLINTON BUSINESSES OFFER UNIQUE CHOICES

Clinton businesses offer shoppers unique products and services better aligned with the Clinton community, not just the same old products based on a national sales strategy.

 SUPPORT CLINTON

Local businesses help sustain a vibrant, compact, walkable town that reduces sprawl, habitat loss, pollution and automobile use.  By shopping locally, you are investing in Clinton and supporting people who care about your town – your independent, locally owned businesses.
